  1. I notice the name Michael Jenkins on this map. I’m wondering if he’s the same Michael Jenkins whose family built Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Church at Mt. Royal and Lafayette and whose profile is on the MICA building next door to Corpus Christi RC Church. The Jenkins family gave the land that the MICA building sits on. (Corpus Christi is my parish).

    • Good question Jan- I’m not sure about this. You should come up into the library and ask Francis about our Dielman-Hayward file. For those of you not familiar, the DH file is an index card file which contains biographical info on thousands of Baltimoreans. Thanks for the comment!

  2. You’re welcome. Thanks for the informational blog!
Good idea! Any excuse to spend more time in a library, particularly “our” library, is worthwhile. I’d love to glean whatever knowledge I can about the DH file from Francis. The amount of institutional memory he represents is mind boggling.
